Person Centred counselling was invented by Dr Carl Rogers in the 1950's . As a Person Centred Counsellor, I can help you to explore your feelings and become empowered and connected with your authentic self to help you to make your desired changes and find your own way forward. You will become more ‘centred’ and will no longer have to look to others for validation because the power is within yourself!
My Qualifications
I have a Diploma in Person Centred Counselling from Warwickshire College and have specialist training in rape and sexual abuse counselling, drugs and alcohol misuse and sexual health awareness. I am a Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and am committed to their code of ethics.
My Experience
I am experienced in working with victims of rape and sexual abuse at Rugby RoSA and elderly people at Age Concern. I also have experience of working with relationship and family issues and with people of all ages and various ethnic origins. Spiritual Counselling is a particular speciality.
